Pre-Production Visa Document Checklist

Before we initiate your application with the authorities, please use this preliminary checklist to gather your core documents. Once compiled, our team will audit every file to ensure strict compliance with Hong Kong policy standards.

  • Passport Bio-Page: Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned departure date.

  • Comprehensive CV / Resume: Highlighting relevant film, media, or artistic achievements.

  • Proof of Professional Standing: Awards, press clippings, portfolios, or IMDb profiles if available.

  • Academic / Professional Certificates: Supporting documents for technical or specialized crew members.

2. Project & Production Evidence

  • Detailed Filming Schedule: A complete daily breakdown of your shooting itinerary in Hong Kong.

  • Script Summary / Treatment: A brief overview of the project's creative direction.

  • Sponsorship / Invitation Letter: Formal letter from the local host or foreign production company.

  • Local Venue Clearances: Confirmed bookings or permits for locations (e.g., LCSD venues, private studios) if available.

3. Corporate & Financial Proof

  • Employment Contracts: Service agreements or appointment letters detailing remuneration for the project.

  • Company Registration: Business licenses of the sponsoring entity or production house.

  • Financial Capability Proof: Bank statements or funding proof guaranteeing the project's financial backing.
